Rebecca Chaiklin (Founding Partner)

Born in New York City, a graduate of NYU, Rebecca was the Director and Producer on The Party’s Over (Last Party 2000), starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, released theatrically in 2001 in the US and Internationally. Rebecca is the Producer on Poster Boy, an independent feature which premiered at the 2004 Tribeca and Locarno Film Festivals, released theatrically in 2006. Rebecca was the Producer on Men Make Woman Crazy Theory, Zoe Cassavettes directorial debut, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and the Producer on Midnight in Cuba, a feature documentary, which premiered at The Berlin Film Festival. As a founding partner of Article 19 films, Chaiklin co-directed and co-produced “Lockdown, USA” and “If I was President” and is a Producer on Bling.

Filippo Bozotti (Founding Partner)

Born in Milan, Italy, fluent in Italian and French, Filippo Bozotti is a Founding Partner of Article 19 Films. His credits include Tribeca Film Festival 2006 Lockdown , USA , and Bling, produced in association with the UN, which premiered on Vh1 in 2007. He is a Producer on feature documentary “If I was President” currently in post-production and has starred in the Sopranos, Showtime movie Hate and in Sofia Coppola’s Marie-Antoinette.Back in Italy , Filippo is a founding partner of 2night SpA, an Italian based entertainment company, supplying entertainment content to the major Italian media on different platforms and providing PR services to the major Italian entertainment venues. Filippo led 2night’s financial and sales team from 2001 to 2003. He is a Graduate of Boston University.

Michael Skolnik

In 2004, Michael directed his first feature project, ON THE OUTS, which made its world premiere at the 2004 Toronto Film Festival, won the Special Jury Prize at the Deauville Film Festival, and went on to be theatrically released in the United States and Europe. He directed HOOKED: THE LEGEND OF DEMETRIUS “HOOK” MITCHELL, which world premiered at the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival and was broadcast on MTV. Michael associate produced HBO’s, HEIR TO AN EXECUTION, a film directed by the granddaughter of Julius & Ethel Rosenberg, which made its world premier at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival and was short listed for a 2004 Academy Award. Michael most recently wrapped, WITHOUT THE KING, on the last ruling monarch in Africa, King Mswati III of Swaziland, which was produced by Netflix and won best picture at the Hot Docs film festival. He is also co-director of LOCKDOWN, USA and IF I WAS PRESIDENT.
